So i wanted to upgrade the RAM on this: http://support.gateway.com/s/Mobile/Q106/Oasis/1014077Rsp6.shtml
It says it can handle 2GB of RAM and i noticed there are single 2GB sticks on amazon:
Crucial 2GB Single DDR2 667MHz - http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000F7QRTG/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used
Kingston ValueRAM 2 GB 667MHz DDR2 - http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000Z70E36/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used
Kingston ValueRAM 2GB 667MHz - http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000JREMTO/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used
Was curious on whether or not it would make much of a difference if i did a single 2GB and attempted to try one of the existing ones just to see whether the laptop can handle more then what it says (with running memtest of course to verify it). With some PC's it is possible. Whether or not it would even work, my main concern is whether 1 - 2GB stick would make a difference, versus 2 1GB.
