[SOLVED] NZXT AER RGB 2 spinning but no lights?

Recently put together a build with the NZXT smart hub, NZXT LEDS and an AER RGB fan. The RGB lit up straight away on the default white as soon as it had power, whilst the fan spun but did not light up at all.

Upon installation of the NZXT CAM software the RGB strip was fully addressable, whilst the fan still did not show up as controllable. I have the fan connected to the hub in the 'fan' slot. Have also tried linking the fan up through the RGB with no success.

Any ideas?
