NZXT C Series 850W vs 850W Fractal Design Ion Gold - (Both 80 plus gold)

Both at the same price, to be exact "£99.98 on scan" - and both rated A on the PSU rankings.
I'm sure i'd be happy with any of them but I think the NZXT has a 10 year warranty and the Fractal Design has a 7 Year warranty?

So I'd assume NZXT is the best one to get?

EDIT: also welcome to any other recommendations for 850W on the A tier

The C850 is a revision (original had a 120mm fan) with a 140mm fan.... always possible something else had changed with it due to supply constraints, but unlikely to have made a difference in quality.

I'd opt for the NZXT at the same price.

And how do you know if that store has the V2 in stock?
The manufacturer code. On SCAN it's PA-8G1BB which is the V2. The V1 is NP-C850M.

Is good info ,but see no review, is it the same as the Thermaltake?
Not the same CWT platform. Thermaltake has a CWT GPR inside while the NZXT has a more recent CWT CSZ, the same platform used in the MSI A1000G (PCI-e5.0) and Thermaltake GF3.
