Hi, I just hooked some fans to NZXT Cam via the NZXT smart device and I was wondering if I have to keep Cam open or can I just set the curves and never open Cam again?

Also sorry not really sure if this is the right place to post this.

Solution
So long as CAM is installed, it IS running, unless you end task on the process. Then it will remain on the baseline or likely, whatever speed it was at when you ended task on it. If you uninstall CAM, the control hardware will remember the baseline speed for the fans, but it will not adjust them according to any preset curve. At least, that has been my experience with CAM using the Grid+ v2. v3 may behave differently, but I'm doubtful. For lighting, they stay with whatever light scheme on the Hue+ you configured, unless you power off and back on. Then they go to the baseline all white.

Solution
My CAM is set to automatically start at boot. After that it minimizes to the tray and becomes just another background process that happens to run the fans/pump on my nzxt aio. About the only time I ever bother looking at it is after an update, either CAM or Windows just to verify it's working right and mess with the colors if need be cuz I hate the stock colors and white background.
