No need to get a fan controller. All fans plugged into your motherboard will be detected by the NZXT CAM software (but mind you, the software may be a bit buggy). The software will detect all components you have plugged into your motherboard - CPU, GPU, HDD, SSD, RAM, and Fans. It shows you the current state of such components such as temperature, load, rpm, voltage, capacity, etc.
If you have some specific NZXT components (such as the Kraken CPU Cooler, Aer RGB Fans, and Hue+ Lighting Kits) installed that are supported by the CAM software, you can configure such components as speed, lighting, colors, etc.
CAM Software has also expanded to feature monitoring of gameplay FPS as well as overclocking GPU - but again, a bit buggy...
