I was about to purchase the AIO CPU cooler NZXT Kraken z73 White RGB until i stumbled upon a topic where it says the NZXT Cam software can cause your PC to freeze randomly which makes me step back from purchasing it.

Can someone confirm if this issue still persists as of today? I've seen they updated the software but I couldn't find an up to date discussion where they confirm if it has already been patched or not.

I really like the cooler because of its simple, neat design and LCD display.

NZXT's CAM app has been hit or miss for me, often times there was a version that was working flawlessly with my platform and then came along revisions(updates) that broke the app entirely. Mind you, I didn't invest in their AIO's, I got the Cryrig H7 Quad Lumi edition and that's where I had to deal with the app. I eventually uninstalled the app after I decided to turn off the RGB on the cooler.

If you want my honest answer/opinion, NZXT know how to spend all their tokens/resources on aesthetics but functionality wise they're lacking in that department. It took them a decade to realize that their cases needed a front panel intake as opposed to redirected front panel air etry points.

Now im starting to get the picture of this, NZXT baits people with their aesthetics apparently but lacks in functionality, software wise. Basically, it's a money grab, lazy way of making their own products function-wise and selling them. I hope im wrong.

Would you have any replacement for z73? Something that looks similar to kraken z73 in white with LCD display? Doesn't have to necessarily look like z73 as long as it has a LCD display to monitor the temps in real time and white variant so it fits aesthetically with my other components, its good enough for me.

It's for my i9 12900k / i9 12900ks (haven't decided yet which one to get) they get pretty hot so a high quality cooler is needed.
