Question nzxt g12 and rtx 2080

added the g12 to my msi rtx 2080 gaming trio and i'm still getting temps in the 80c +on full load. OC gpu to 2000MHz+ and Mem clock around 7,400. i was expecting cooler temps after the g12 install. did i do something wrong?
9900k on an MSI Z390gaming board with 32g of Gskill ram @3200 with a double AIO. h115I Pro on the CPU and an H115 extreme on the GPU.

The G12 doesn't natively support the H115, so you probably have poor contact/mounting pressure.

The pump mount fits in the G12 bracket though. I'm contemplating taking it apart and checking to see if the it is contacting correctly

Physically, I don't doubt that it does - but the specific, compatible blocks are different.
Different mounting highs, pressure etc. I'm pretty sure you'll find that to be the problem
