I have plugged the hub into my PSU and motherboard via the CPU fan header, I connected a PWM fan to the white header on the hub which gets controlled correctly. The problem is no other fans are controlled by voltage. After making sure the PWM signal was as low as possible, then used a multimetre to test the voltages of the 3 pin outputs: they were all 12V.

I'm pretty sure I did nothing wrong, I don't want to buy a second fan hub when my case comes with one.

Solution
I was thinking about if you are using the same type of fans on the fan hub :)

Picture this as an example:

In the case you have
- 3 fans intake (Corsair ML)
- 1 fan rear exhaust (Generic brand)
- 2 fans exhaust top (BeQuiet Silent Wings 3)

Now you put the 3 front intake fans and plug them into the fan hub, since they are the same type of fans with the same specifications.
You dont put the Corsair ML and Silent Wings 3 fans on the same hub since that is 2 different fans with different specifications.
