NZXT Kraken M22 Cpu Cooler

Hello,

I just ordered an nzxt kraken m22 cpu cooler and was looking at videos and people were connecting a load of stuff to there mobo and the cooler its self. I only thought that you just plugged it into the cpu fan slot. Will mine work with my mobo?

I have an nzxt s340 elite case and a asus z-97k mobo.

In order to control the RGB and pump (also the fan if you hook it up to the pump instead of the motherboard), there is a USB cable you need to attach to your USB header on your motherboard, plus an additional fan cable for the pump power (make sure the header that is powering the pump is at full power in the BIOS.)

That all seems so confusing ;( Im going to hook it up with 1 fan attached to the back of the case. I also want the rgb as the main reason why i got it. Do I have usb header on my mobo? I honestly have no idea if i do.

Just follow the manual, and you'll be fine. It's super easy to hook the plugs in.

You have three USB 2.0 headers on the bottom center of your motherboard, just plug the appropriate plug into one of the headers.

Thanks for that! I see 3 of the same pins at the bottem. They have 9 pins and a grey 'cover/box' around it. Could this be it ?

Look for a diagram of your motherboard in your motherboard manual, then you'll know exactly where and what the headers are.
