Hi!

I'am looking for an AOI cooler, I've never used one before and I do not know if AOI fans can be replaced. So my question is, can I swap the 2 NZXT fans I get to 2 Corsair LL120's?

Thanks!

Solution
They can be replaced if you want to, but you are giving up performance by doing so:
AER P120 - X53's stock fans
RPM: 2300(max)
CFM: 73.11
Static pressure: 2.93mm-H2O
dBA: 36

LL120
RPM: 1500
CFM: 43.25
Static pressure: 1.61mm-H2O
dBA: 24.8

The radiator on this unit has a moderately thick 22FPI, so high static pressure fans are necessary.
I would suggest avoiding a high performance AIO if you want to replace the fans, and instead settle for one of the silent, or low rpm models, as the LL120s will have an easier time moving air through those rads.

Why LL120's? The RGB version? They suck for radiators. Well, to be fair, they suck in general. You'll need to crank up the full rpm to move any air at all, because the fan curve of rpm-cfm is not straight, at 50% fan speed you'll get around 40% of max cfm. Which puts @ 20cfm into the rad but only 10cfm will make it through due to lack of static pressure.

Honestly, the stock fans are extremely good fans, rated 1 step below Noctua, nzxt does their homework.

I already have them so I cant pick others, I will go with an air cooler instead. I want RGB in my system so it would be kinda weird to only use 1 out of 3 LL120's.

Thank you for the detailed answer. I will use a high end air cooler instead so that I dont have to deal with all that stuff.
