NZXT Kraken X61 690LC Driver issue Fix

So, I've come here today to guide you through the hell I've been through twice now.

I noticed a lot of the question threads with the same topic didn't have much of an answer to help me.

I formatted my computer the otherday, and for some reason, for the second time now, I could not get CAM to detect my Kraken.

the drive '690LC' was showing up, Windows didn't have a clue what to do with it. It's the driver for the USB Controller for the Kraken.

Uninstalling, Rebooting, nothing fixed it. I tried everything.

Then I stumbled upon a post mentioning it was Asetek drivers

I found this:

I scanned with BitDefender and hosted it myself so no dodgy websites ^_^

I tried installing it manually in Device Manager, but windows said it was not compatible.

I then proceeded to choose the option to choose from a list of drivers - Selected "I have a disk" - pointed it to the folder of that zip. Confirmed the installation (Because windows said it was not compatible) Rebooted. Blam Working Kraken.

I hope this helps guys, all my NZXT stuff is working now
