Before this whole Libyan thing, I just saw Obama as the dem in the typical dem vs rep crap. Now, he needs to step down. What did Libya do to the US to even provoke this? This is the most impeachable offense. At least both of the Bushes did what they were supposed to when it came to congress.

on the topic of obama's escapade with libya, it's not too much different from the vietnam and/or korean conflict (can't remember which off the top of my head) where the president sent troops over without the support of congress, and where war was never officially declared.

really though he didn't NEED to attack libya; he could have just asked Israel to do it and they would've done it without a second thought

Oh you guys are so funny. Like this president is any different than Bush. Spend spend spend spend spend. Pass laws that reduce our freedoms. Get into a war that has absolutely nothing to do with us (other than the fact it is yet another country that produces oil). Yeah, Bush really hindered Obama. The reality is nothing has changed since our last president, but most of the country will ignore this, still defend their party and vote in a big ticket guy. We'll never get out of this hole.

nevermind that Bush 2 lied about all the reasons to go there. Everything they said on the lead up was false. they've been reduced to saying "getting rid of saddam was still a good thing even if we lied to get the ok to do it from congress.

you said it, "intelligent people", problem is everyone isn't intelligent. Apparent 30% of the people are idiots. 40% are uninformed, and 30% are high lever critical thinkers who spent too much time making sure they have the right info.
