I'll give an example.
If you use windows, you know the thin blue line that appears under a program that you have open in the taskbar. The problem is, this line is also visible at the top of my display.
This also happens with my voice chat program that has an overlay that lights up when I talk. The very bottom of it is also visible on the very top of my screen (i'd say 1-2 pixels tall, it's not like a ton but it's there).

It's getting annoying, is this normal (and if so how do I turn it off)?

Solution

If you cannot fix it with the OSD then try to contact the supplier before doing the RMA, especially considering it might be a common problem with your model. If they cannot help then definitely RMA.
You should be able to adjust this in your monitors settings. Try to open the on screen menu for your monitor by pressing the buttons on the monitor. Navigate through the settings until you find an option to adjust the picture size.

I have a PG279Q, but I can't find that setting in my OSD. Do you know where it might be?

UPDATE: I just noticed that the entire bottom line of pixels on the monitor is visible at the top.
I looked it up and it seems like this some PG279Qs have this problem. Should I RMA or is there a fix?
