Hi all,

I attempted to stream today but to no avail, as StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS) crashes after a few minutes. The game I'm attempting to play is Far Cry Primal, now yesterday I had no issues in playing, streaming and recording. nor have I had any issues with Far Cry 4 before that. And so I tested FTL and voila SLOBS runs as intended, so now I'm thinking it's a hardware issue and at this point is where I need help, as my only solution is to wipe the PC start from scratch and see if that fixes anything but that is my last resort.

Thanks, Midgitwarrior

Solution
From your specs and what you've described I think you haven't got enough power to fun both at the same time. A GTX 1069/1070 would handle it fine if you wanted to upgrade, but other than that you're not going to be able to stream it I'm afraid, as Far Cry Primal is more intensive than Far Cry 4.

My specs are as follow:

CPU: I5-7500
GPU: GTX1050TI
RAM:8GB

I also uninstalled and reinstalled SLOBS but to no avail. i did some more testing though and dying light with SLOBS lags quite a bit, so the game it self on monitor 1 runs at a smooth 70-80 but SLOBS seems to be showing 10-15FPS, yet when i switched to regular OBS there was no issue, this is also after the fact i restarted my PC, so now my next guess is SLOBS is having issues.

Thanks again, and apologies for the late reply, Midgitwarrior

Lower down your resolution to 720p and your bitrate to around 3k and see if that helps it, dont worry about streaming in 720p many people still dont stream at 1080p and streaming in 720p gives your hardware more breathing room
