Desktop Audio Device is set to my sound card, but it doesn't work. Shadowplay works fine

EDIT: Microphone is disabled, there is no mic

EDIT: Shadowplay's volume is too quiet. Is it because I'm using sound card?

EDIT: OBS Studio and turning up the game capture server in the Windows volume mixer solved my issues respectively

Solution

If I remember right, I installed OBS Studio which fixed OBS.

For the sound, I right clicked on the sound icon > volume mixer so it brought up all the levels. At the end is Nvidia Capture Server > Turn it up to suitable levels

If I remember correctly that's what I did

OS: 10 1511
Memory: 16 GB
Storage: 4.1 TB
Board: MSI Z97 Gaming 7
CPU: i5 4570
GPU: GTX 780
Sound card: Soundblaster ZXR

Everything else is probably irrelevant

I'm responding to this thread in order to help stave off thread deletion and also offer an insight to those who may be on the same boat.

Perhaps if you could detail the procedures for those who are inexperienced? A systems specs could also offer an indication.
