If I were to use an Elgato Capture device will it cause any lag. When I record now, with OBS, I lose a lot of frames. Will an Elgato cause this lag? If not I would prefer to use an Elgato. What Elgato is recommended for 1440p 60fps?

Specs:

Solution
Elgato products are 1080p only, you cannot get 1440p 60Hz using that. Some devices (black magic, magewell) will allow 4K 30Hz capture, but basically everything requires HDMI and HDMI 1.4b only supports 1080p 60Hz or 4K 30Hz, 1440p 60Hz isn't possible for those systems.

Solution
OBS can use quicksync wich has a very small overhead meaning very little FPS drop.
Your GPU supports shadowplay through geforce experience wich has even less overhead.
There is no sense in getting extra hardware, you already have two capture cards in your system.
