Heya boys..
Recently I got that insane ideato start streaming .. so.. I read some threads about settings .. etc about obs and i did my setup. But when i start streaming my game laggs (WoW Legion/BFA, CS:GO , Fortnite) .. and all of my settings are on low/medium.

Settings:
NVENC / x264
5500 bitrate
720p/60fps

RIG:
MOBO: H81M-C
CPU: i7 4790 (non K)
GPU: GTX 960 2GB STRIX
RAM: 8GB 1600 (1 stick)

So, I was woundering .. if my ram could be the problem here? When i go live, i do open sporify, chrome and 1 more app..

Any ideas? My english level isn't that good, soo.. sorry

Its easy to determine if RAM is the problem here or not, you can use a monitoring software or even task manager (assuming you're on windows) to monitor RAM usage, but I'm pretty sure that RAM is not the problem in your case.

Honestly, I've worked with OBS in the past and it's a pretty complicated software in my opinion, try messing around with the settings a bit. You can also try shadowplay for streaming instead, pretty sure it's supported on the 960.

Edit: Might wanna stay away from Chrome, it usually eats upto 1 gigabyte with just 2-3 tabs open and pretty much every game stutters for me if I have it running in the background

I picked OBS, cuz its easy to work with and its an open software.
OKay i will check the ram usage.

One more thing.. My HDD is doing someloud scratchy noises.. It may cause some lagg it self? Slow info reading? Maybe?

EDIT: 8GB RAM TOTAL .. While listening to music, chrome open, obs and fortnite 7.45GB USED :O

Scratchy noises usually indicate a dying hard drive, hard to tell in this situation though.

Yeah well, lol. Trying closing Chrome during next stream, it has to be smoother this time.

Update:
Just bought a Kingston Hyper X blue ram kit 2x8gb ddr3 1600mhz. Now i don't have the lag in game problem, but when i finish recording, my mp4 video seems to be capturing the game lagging.. I'm bad at explaining.. Any ideas?
