I have to get a game license quickly before going away. Has anyone
obtained a game license from a post office in central or south london
- if so, which post office? Many thanks for any help.

Ask in the main post offices.
(if your not sure which ones are main post offices then call the sorting
office and ask).

I don't know where John gets the idea that the
'sorting office' will know where the main - or even sub
- post offices are. And even if they do, we're so
damned busy that you stand a very good chance of
getting an answering machine offering you a set of
standard options -which won't include information about
game licenses.

I suggest a look through the yellow pages, and
then call any one of the central/southern London
offices. If they're not the one you want *they* should
at least know which one is.

Offices listed as being in ..... High Street
are more likely to be main ones.

Or go to the Post Office website at www.postoffice.co.uk

However, the only licences they mention on there are fishing, driving,
telly and car.
