Does the following link show the app you installed?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.canon.bsd.ad.pixmaprint&hl=en_US

Does the Android tablet otherwise successfully connect to your network and the internet?

Are other computers/devices able to print to the Canon inkjet?

Does the Canon inkjet have an assigned static IP address?

Take a second look at how the App SELPHY is configured on the Android tablet.

If all seems to correct then the original install may be buggy or corrupted.

Reinstall.

I found the following installation "guide":

Yes, that's right.

Does the Android tablet otherwise successfully connect to your network and the internet?
No. it doesn't. This is the problem

Are other computers/devices able to print to the Canon inkjet?
Yes, they're. My laptop HP Notebook (with windows 8.1) is able to print to the Canon inkjet. Also my PC but by USB cable.

Does the Canon inkjet have an assigned static IP address?
I don't know. I'm going to check.

Take a second look at how the App SELPHY is configured on the Android tablet.
ok.

If all seems to correct then the original install may be buggy or corrupted.

Reinstall.

I found the following installation "guide":

Ok. I was trying to fix my tablet, I deleted my wifi network from my tablet and identify again the wifi network and reconnecting it, but it doesn't work. I modified some settings like switch from DHCP to Static and assigned a new IP address, I connected, but I couldn't send or receive any data at all. So I went back to DHCP.

When you say "I deleted my wifi network from my tablet" does that mean that you deleted the wireless network adapters? Knowingly or perhaps unknowingly?

However you cannot do both: i.e., switch the tablet to DHCP and assign a new IP address.

If the tablet is using DHCP then your router assigns the IP address.

A static IP means that you assigned the IP address to the tablet via the router. And that assignment includes two things: 1) ensuring that the assigned IP address is outside of the router's allowed DHCP IP address range and 2) that the assigned static IP address is reserved for the Android tablet via the tablet's MAC.

What router do you have (make and model) and what subnet mask is the router using?

No, I didn't. I just clicked on "forget" in the detected networks.

Thanks for the information. I change the IP address of my tablet from itself.

TP-link
model: TL-WR741ND

Hello, just to say I could connect my tablet to mi wifi of my home. Thanks for all your help. It makes me reflect, think and try different things until it resolved. I just copied a password that appears in security tab in "'MySsid' wireless network properties" window in Network and Sharing Center in Control Panel of my laptop. ('MySsid' is the name of my wifi). But that password is not that I wrote when I set up my router and wifi. Good bye.
