I still get them too - but I upgraded my catalyst drivers for my 9700Pro
to the ones released a few days ago, and followed some advice about
pointing a table fan into my open case, and played finally for quite a
few hours before GPF.

What video card are you using? I've got a lot o fans in my case, but I
noticed it was still damn hot in the area near the fan on the 9700. Any
ideas on cooling the 9700 better?

Ever heard of glycol based cooling systems? Glycol is a liquid that
is the same thing as automobile antifreeze. I've heard of them, but
I've never checked into them to see how much they cost, or if they
can be fitted to any system configuration etc. Might be worth
checking into though if you're serious about some serious cooling
power!.
