Hi seniors, i have 2 years old i7 6700k which running extremely hot like 90° in full load with p95 v2.66, cooling with h100i v2 @ 4.6ghz with vcore 1.34v, recently i've decided to delid it and replace the TIM with TG Conductonaut. Ive managed to get 4.7ghz with same Vcore and temp below 65° in full load with p95 for few hrs. I can try further OC to 4.8ghz, however its only stable by increase thr Vcore to 1.42v, my question perhaps is it worth the risk or i just keep with 4.7ghz

My setup are:

Intel i7 6700k
Asrock z170 extreme6
Corsair lpx ddr4 2666mhz x 2
Zotac gtx 1070 amp extreme edition
Superflower gold series 650w
Corsair h100i V2

Thanks again for ur time to read thru...

The max voltage recommended by intel is 1.45v for that cpu Remember the gpu does most of the work during gaming so all you are doing is getting faster internet surfing speed with a faster cpu setting. Just kidding. But you have a cooler on your cpu so you should be fine at 4.8 as long as it is cooled.
