I got my cpu to clocked up to 2.5 vcore run at 1.111 on cpu-z but when i tried to go higher to 2.6 or 2.55 the cpu core run at a 1.45v and does not go down when i am idle, i very new at this since this is my first attempt at OC, is this suppose to happen?
I have an Asus M2N32-SLI DELUXE.

Seems you're using an "auto-overclock" option. This way, the mother decides what voltage to send to the processor. This variation is normal.
It would be abnormal if you set it manualy and it would drop/raise that much alone.

I think you may be confusing (or I’m confused  ) CPU VCC with CPU temp's?
VCC should be around 1.35-1.45 V and MAY fluctuate by 0.01-0.02V between no-load and load.
Temps should fluctuate somewhere between 40c- 55c, no-load and load.

I have it set on manual OC because Auto clocking only go up to 10%, I have to manually set the DRAM to 667 in order to clock over 2.3.
I have a 939 x2 and I can clock up to 2.65 with idle vcore at 1.111, but the am2 after 2.50 OC does not go in idle mode even when im idle and the vcore always stay at 1.45+. I am just wondering if it suppose to stay like that even when idle?

that is what im trying to get at CnQ is enable, when it is idle at 2.5 the vcore go down but when im idle at 2.5+ it stay at 1.45vcore even with CnQ enable

Then disable C&Q in your Bio's. My understanding is it messes with your OCed setting when it returns to full power (puts them back to un-OCed state).

just turn every thing to stock restart then disable cnq
then restart again.

then start your overclock. and work your way up.

dont mess with your vlts just oc a little at a time with stock vlts

then go from there
