OC Asus radeon 7850

Hi i curently have asus radeon 7850 and im just wondering if cranking up to 1.3v is still safe for long term use

asus tends to use solid caps and vrms... as long as your temps aren't too bad you should be ok

Not sure about long term use, but 1.3v seems perfectly safe--this guy hit 1376MHz core and 1500MHz memory at 1.3v on his 7850

Ok thanks guys... I'm just dying to get at least 1200mhz. But it will only stay stable @ 1.27v which seems a little too high but if that is safe I'll run it.. Now about how long do you think it will last until it craps out because I basically built this PC on budget and have been upgrading as I go so I can get a new card if needed.

well my rule of thumb is basically... never overclock something you can't afford to replace.

That said, it's very hard to do damage to a solid built gpu with overclocking... as gpu overclocking is almost impossible to do damage to a good gpu. All asus gpus tend to be high quality... so i wouldn't worry too much.
