Hello, i have the Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 3 Motherboard with an I7 8700k.

So, I do know pretty much about PC's, but less about just MOBOs.

So, on the back side of the MOBO is a button labeld OC, if I press it, it will glow Blue.
In the manual it says it will load the best OC settings for my system.. not more.

I just wanted to know if anyone had expiriences with this button and what EXACTLY it changes with the OC or so.

I did not YET OC my CPU, but I will do so. So should I disabled the button?

Solution
if you plan to manually oc the system, then keep it turned off. manually oc'ing the system will likely disable the feature anyway.

what the button will do is a "safe' overclock. it will keep voltage the same or minimally higher and will push the clock speed up just enough to see some gains. but it won't stress the system much nor try for any records. i use it on my MSI gaming 5 and it took my 4690k from stock 3.5 ghz (3.9 turbo) to about 4.2 ghz. keeps it cool and running strong with the small bit of OC. never bothered to manually OC it as this was high enough for me to not bother with a manual OC.
