OC = E6850 w/ ASUS P5Q

Using Winows Vista 64-bit ULTIMATE, Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz E6850 and an Asus P5Q Mobo. 4gb, 2x2gb. PSU: (500w) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182016

Settings:

CPU Ratio = 9.0
FSB Freq = 440
FSB Strap to N bridge = 400mhz
DRAM Freq = AUTO

Ram Timings = Default, set at 5-5-5-15

All voltages = AUTO

Load Line Calibration = Enabled
CPU Spread Spectrum = Disabled
PCI E Spread Specrtrum = Disabled
CPU Clock Skew = Delay 200pc
N Bridge Clock Skew = Delay 100ps


With those settings I'm overclocking to 3.96ghz. If I set the FSB Freq any higher I get a blue screen. Temps are stable, 28c idle with my Asus Silent Knight AL HSF (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835101019). My RAM is not that great for overclocking. I was hoping to push to 4.0ghz. What settings can I change to possibly get that? Also, should I manually change the voltages, and if so, to what?

if ure ram is 6400 then 2.2v should allow it to oc easily to 500fsb. just set the vcore low eg 1.4 and then slowly raise it till you make it stable also raise ure northbride voltage to see if that helps.
