My athlon 1200C is FSB overclocked (8.0x150) instead of the usual (9.0x133),
thanx to Kingmax pc150 ram.
that also means my PCI bus speed is 37.5Mhz & my agp is 75Mhz
i have a gigabyte G.A. 660 plus (tnt2 pro) graphics card.
Has anybody had experience with this particular card and an elevated AGP bus?
when playing 3d games my computer has a habit of randomly locking up. and i suspect it is due to the agp speed. maybe i should run my system at 133 and see if it make a diff.
When i finally get enough moolah to upgrade,
what graphics card/ line is most able to handle a 75 or more Mhz AGP speed?
im thinking something not to highend.
i.e. NOT geforce3 or 2 ultra
something between a kryo2 and geforce2.
any suggestions?
I think im going crazy and hearing voices, but my Hamster says im not!
