I have a Geforce GT 640, and when I use the OC Guru II overclocking for the GPU, every time, it over-corrects.
Example: I set it to overclock by 50mhz, it'll launch up to 200mhz overclocking. Then I'll set it down to the original value I tried to set, and it will go down to the default +0... SO annoying.
To remedy, I will overclock small increments til I get my desired value.
This is a serious and frankly dangerous for the GPU. Anyone have tips? or perhaps it's just not very well compatible with my card? I do have another card coming in, hopefully that helps.
