I recently downloaded Windows 8.1 on my computer, and with it got the GTX 780 OC edition (rev 2.0) Graphics Card. I downloaded the drivers just fine, but when it came to the OC utility, the OC Guru II, it would not boot after being downloaded. All that would happen is the window would open for a moment of a second, then close right away. And that's it.

I have tried installing it off the website instead of using the Cd, and tried to install an older version, but noting would work.

If anyone has any suggestions, please help.

Thank you.

Solution
If you are referring to the GPU overclock tool, grab something like EVGA precision or MSI Afterburner( I use this one with the Gigabyte GTX 780 ghz). I've had issues with oc guru installations before, and just used Afterburner, I feel its a better tool anyway.

While I have never had problems with OC Guru I do prefer MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X. I have OC Guru, latest version, installed on my Windows 8.1 SSD and it runs and works just fine for me but as I said I use one of the other apps and hardly ever use OC Guru.

I liked how friendly it was to change the stats of the card on OC Guru, and monitoring was very easy. Which one of the two that you suggested would be more user friendly?
