I'm using OC Guru ii to try and overclock my windforce gtx 980ti and I've noticed the dault power under 'target' is set to 0% and if I change it, it goes to 60% and can't be changed. Is this actually going to affect my performance? Why is this happening?

Scrap OC G II and use MSI Afterburner for OC'ing your GPU... OC G II, has issues with:

1- Maintaining OC profiles
2- Maintaining manual fan profiles
3- Maintaining power-target settings (as you are currently encountering)

It looks pretty, but is not a viable/reliable OC utility. This is speaking from personal experience AND Tom's is full of postings with OC G II having issues.

Just some friendly advice given on this and MSI AB is very easy to use by the way...

If you want to have the ability to change and update your LED on your GPU while using MSI AB (or any other OC utility for that matter), here's some steps I created as a work-around:

Thanks, I've changed over to afterburner but I've heard some games cam have problems with it. Also do any changes you made in oc guru ii stay after you uninstall it?

Make sure to uninstall OCG first and it will wipe any profiles you have. Once you have AB installed afterwards, it will show your GPU at it's stock settings and you can go from there with OC'ing; up to (5) five profiles.

I'm not aware of AB causing issues with games but then again as it's software, there will prob be a conflict somewhere... but, will be the exception, not the rule.
