I will admit that I am new to PC Building + Overclocking so I will try and keep this brief. I recently purchased an i5-6500 + Asus B150M-A so I could reuse my 16gb of DDR3 RAM. A friend of mine is asking me to build him a new PC (CPU/MB/RAM/SSD/Case) up to $350 (including the $50 he offered to pay me for assembly). I came to the conclusion that this would be his best bet if I could throw in some extra RAM I have lying around.

Being that he is on an extremely tight budget (and I was at the time I built my computer) I figured I may try to convince him to take my current cpu/motherboard/ram slap in an SSD + buy a case, assemble it for free, and use the $350 towards buying:

So, my question is this: Is the performance difference between an OC i5-6600k and an i5-6500 going to make that much of a difference where it would be worth reinstalling windows and going through the disassembly/reassembly process?
