sorry to beat a dead horse but there are 4 xigmatek heat sinks between $35-40 that are compatible with Socket 775 / Core2Quads.

1. Dark Knight-S1283V 120mm Bearing Cooler
2. HDT-S1284EE 120mm Rifle Cooler
3. HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle Cooler
4. HDT-D1284 120mm Rifle Cooler

And no matter which of the above I get I also want this: bracket.

I have 7" in between the motherboard and the side of my case.

Thanks! Gonna get the Dark Knight... now a question on the PSU:

I'ts still not clear to me whether or not the Antec 500w Earthenware will do the job or not?! I'm getting mixed reviews about it...

If I was to upgrade the PSU I'm looking at these:
1. Corsair 750w not Modular 1-12v rail
2. Corsair 620w Modular 3-12v rails

I'd rather not shell out another $100 but if I have to I have to... whaddaya think?

Here's a comment I found on Newegg: "If you do your research on modular cable, and multiple 12v rails, you will find that they are not that great. Underutilized rails "trap" power, while others (like the one supplying graphics cards) are over taxed. Modular cables just provide another place for a bad connection to occur."

You mean Earthwatts right? It will do fine, that FX 1500 uses the G80 processor I believe and isn't that powerhungry. Your system probably won't draw more than 300w under full load.
