Heya!

I just OC'ed my i5 and now it randomly gives Blue Screen with:
system thread exception not handled
Is this because of the OC?
I ran a Prime95 Blend test for 4 hours with no problem but it still crashes sometimes.
Do I change things up so it doesn't happen anymore?
What do I do?

Sidenote:
I only changed some power save settings off and changed the BLCK Freq from I believe 137/138 to 148 and its now 3.25Ghz..

I have p7p55lx motherboard and 12gb ram at 1.333mhz

You should not get any stability issues with 3.2ghz oc on the lynnfield i5. Did you read tutorials and disable Intel turbo boost like suggested? What temperatures are you getting under load? Going from 2.9 to 3.2 on all cores should not need any voltage boost.

added:
Remember when you overclock via BLCK this will also raise your DRAM frequency and unstable memory can corrupt oc and give all kinds of trouble. I had many p7p55 boards and there is a bios option to lower the DRAM frequency down a notch.

This list is quite good for figuring out what went wrong, it wont give exact answer but worth a try (look the i7 x58 codes , NOT sandybridge) https://www.overclock.net/forum/5-intel-cpus/935829-overclockers-bsod-code-list.html
