Can u gave me the FSB for succesful posting?

Thanks

Yeah...every single cpu overclocks differently.

My p4 630 will overclock differently than yours. And bobs will overclock differently than mine.

If there were specific settings that worked for every one then why wouldnt intel just set all of them at x.xxGHz?

You have an old P4 on a P5K?

Do you understand any of what you've done? Your trying to make an old P4 handle a 33% OC? Sure it would be nice if it worked, but it might not. Without knowing what settings you've changed, I haven't a clue as to help you. I mean no offense, but I suggest you do some more reading on the subject.

OK,THANKS FOR ALL THE REPLIES!

Then it might be one or more of:
- lacking cpu voltage -> add a bit more
- lacking fsb voltage -> add a bit more
- lacking ram voltage -> add a bit more
- you've reached the limit of the ram -> set the ram speed to Asynchronous mode and set the ram speed lower
- you've reached the fsb limit of your board -> no realistic solution (unless fsb holes existed before the C2D)
- you've reached the fsb limit of your chip -> also a dead end

Hi, how i can OC my Intel Dual Core E5200, with an ASUS P5KPL AM/PS, I am desesperated, in spite of i have read a lot of guides and tutorial about OC, I'm really confused. Sorry but I'm not speak english very well.

Let see my PC information with CPU-Z:

Thank's

Hi mauro_s,

Y ur e5200 runs at 1.2GHz?I had OC my P4 At a Maximum of:

EDIT: Did u try the automatic OC feature in the bios?

Thanks for answered. No, mi E5200 runs at 2.5 Ghz, it's in the image. I see in the bios the feature OC, there are from 5% to 30%, but I not take a risk yet about that, I want to be secure of knowledges and information before OC, or do some changes.

Thanks

I dont think there is any risk in the asus oc feature,If there is any mistake in the voltage or anything,BSOD will happen, then restart the pc and revert the settings,I think it is the safest way to oc the cpu!
