Alright. I've read the TH sticky on OC'ing aswell as other forums stickies and they don't answer this one question. I have a Q6600 and my question is:

Is it safe to put the FSB straight to 1333? Or should I OC in small amounts?

Thanks
-Peter

Your mobo supports 1333MHz FSB so no problems there. You may need to adjust FSB VTT, NB and RAM settings to acheive it safely and with stability.

ALWAYS INCREASE IN SMALL AMOUNT TO BE SAFE ESPECALLY IF YOUR NEW TO THIS!
it may be alright to do in one big shot but i never would better be safe than sorry!
asso it only take a tiny little while longer anyway to increase slowly!

If you are trying to find your fsb ceiling, drop your multiplier down to the lowest and work on your fsb - leaving most things to auto and ram to 1:1... that will get your started.
