OC QX9650, P5K Deluxe Mobo ?

Hello,

I will be purchasing the new QX9650 & ideally would like to have it OC to 4.0 ghz rock solid stable, 4ghz would be fine I dont need higher. I have read a few articles & judging by what I read I don't think this is out of the question.

I already have the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme CPU cooler & a high powered fan in an Xclio Windtunnel case so I think my cooling should be fine.

I would like to get the Asus P5K Deluxe (P35 chipset).
Would this mobo suffice for stable 4.0ghz ?

Does anyone out there have this board with the QX9650 ? What OC are you getting ? Would you mind to share your settings ?

Also ideally I would like to get DDR2 800 memory rather than spending more. I know higher would be better but is stable 4.0ghz possible with High end (Corsair XMS2) DDR2800 & P5K Deluxe ?

If not then ideally what mobo should I get ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be fine. Since you will have the luxury of raising your multi, you won't need to worry about more expensive RAM. Set FSB to 400, FSB:RAM ratio 1:1, and then jack the multi to 10. Increase vcore as needed. Done.
