[SOLVED] OC ram to 3600mhz

Adata xpg 16x2 3600mhz
When using docp standard to 3600 or anything more than 2666mhz it's not happening and pc restarts stating memory settings have been reset

1st gen Ryzen is just not capable of any such RAM speeds like 3600MHz, 2666 - 2933. Instead of frequency concentrate on Lowering CAS latency.

D.O.C.P (Direct Overclocking Profile.) is not standard and does not extend to 3600Mhz so system would choose a safe frequency, timings and voltage at JDEC standard 2666MHz.

I'm a newbie so I don't know what settings to keep actually DOCP kicks to only 3200 but 3200 doesn't work,
Can anyone let me know what settings of Ram should I keep in Bios to OC it.
This is my RAM

There is no guarantee you will achieve 3600Mhz as it depends on the strength of the IMC (Integrated Memory controller) on your chip.
You will have to manually tweak your Bios for Timings, Frequency and Dram voltage.
Start at 2666MHz and work your way up in 200MHz jumps and increase voltage to no more than 1.4V.
Also change the command rate from 1t - 2t.
It can be a frustrating exercise when the CPU officially supports up to 2666MHz

Make sure your motherboard has the latest bios update that supports your first-generation Ryzen CPU. Alot of bios updates relate to memory compatibility. No guarantees but it may allow you to achieve a higher frequency. A small increase to the SOC voltage also sometimes helps. Other than that. It's just finding the highest frequency your system will boot at and then tightening the timings to get the max performance at that frequency.
