Hi,

- When doing OC is it necessary to buy a heatsink different from the one
with the Ryzen APUs?

- OC is only possible on some MB?

- OC improves RAM performance?

- 3200 MHz XMP RAM need OC?

- Ryzen 3000 will allow OC?

- Are other fans necessary besides those of the case?

Thank's
Regards

1. Depends on OC level and which Ryzen, Some like 2700x have great cooler allowing for some OC, others, not so much. APUs are more sensitive than straight CPUs because of IGPU in same package. My long time mantra is: "Cool first OC later".
2. Only A320 MBs are made so can't OC, all others can but could be limited by their VRM.
3. OC of CPU does improve RAM performance but not by much, that's because memory controller is in the CPU (IMC).
4. All DDR4 start at 2133MHz and XMP is kind of OC but it just provides BIOS with data to set parameters for that pre-determined OC level. Some may OC even a bit further.
5. Most Ryzen 3rd gen are said to have unlocked multiplier but there may be limited like 200g is now.
6. That solely depends on case and heat generated inside.

Overclocking your ram takes some work on AM4/Ryzen. Unless you buy CL14 Samsung B die ram. If you buy cheaper ram your best bet is to identify the die with Thaiphoon Burner and then use Ryzen DRAM Calculator and plug in the timings it gives you. Otherwise you will have problems getting your ram to a decent frequency.

if I have a RAM with XMP automatically sets the frequencies higher or you have to set it from the BIOS?
