hi all,

i have a TB 1.333 oc to 1.533 FSB266
with mb A7V133 Raid Kt133A

when i raise the multiplier to 12, the pc don't want boot

i have already max vCore to 1.85v that mb can let me

i think if i succeed to put vCore to 1.9 or 1.95v
or maybe more (but i don't know well the vCore cpu limit)
i'll can oc to 1.6 maybe even above

i remember i read an tom's article about chg vCore on Asus A7V with electronic components but what about A7V133 ?

is someone know how to raise up vCore on Asus A7V133 Raid
above 1.85v ?

thanks

Why don't you just higher the FSB a little to get higher speed, or doesn't the mobo supports that?
I'm not sure if the A7V and A7V133 voltage regulation parts are the same, you could try to see of the pictures of the A7V match your board.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground 😱 .

i had tried FSB but slightly 134Mhz pass the test
which give almost nothing for perf

Exactly

i think, it's because i have an very old pci graphic card, an S3 Virge with 2Mb of memory buy in 1995

or perhaps, my pc133 sdram can't support the raise

You could replace the components, hardware and mem is rather cheap these days.
If you get your FSB up to 140 MHz it will increase your CPU speed to (140*11.5=)1610 MHz, and the rest of your system (PCI, AGP, mem) will also run faster, but I think you already know that.

yes,

but as you certainly know, my AIW graphic card i just bought, is out of order (see "BROKEN AIW" forum message)

so, for the moment, i keep the old one

note:
it' faster with FSB raise than frequency cpu raise, but it's also more hazard

i have found maybe a solution on overclockers.com site

just an advice

i think don't try modify your mb or other electronic cards without a solution which has been already test by another.
electronic modifications are risked & i think you must have a solution before.

for instance, A7V modifications don't work with A7V133 & you can't see the mb electronic diff...
(but perhaps 'cause about me ..)

if you aren't an electronics specialist

but it's just my opinion :)

Yes, I saw your other post.

I, myself, am looking for a voltage mod for the Abit KG7, but didn't find anything yet.

did you try overclockers.com ?

this site is rather strange & not easy to find what we search

but it has a lot of info

Yes, didn't found anything yet, site is a bit out to date (instead of up to date).
But I read a lot of articles about watercooling on it, my water resevoir is based on one of theire articles.

ok, understand why i found article about my "old" A7V133
and not you

do you know another sites like this more up to date ?
