Hello, Yesterday I overclocked my CPU to 4.4ghz and under a stress test (cinebench) temperatures reached max of 58c. Today temps were 62c and even when I down clocked it to 4.0 ghz it still got to 62c. (with the same stress test) Also my cpu idles at 22c. Are these temperatures ok? Does lowering the voltage decrease the temperature?

Thanks for you help.

Those temperatures are fine but I wouldn't let it go much higher than 65c. The difference between yesterday's and today's could be caused by the temperature of the room that your computer is in. Also, if you lower your voltage, your temperatures will most likely decrease under load but stay the same at idle. 22c at idle is great. Overall, you've got nothing to worry about. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply, I did some tinkering and I was told to set Load Line Control to extreme. When I set it to Regular my temps dropped by 12c and so far preforms just as good

Oh nice! Yeah, load line prevents vdroop so it was probably keeping your voltage much higher than it needed to be. Now that your temps are down 12c you can OC'd even more haha!
