Question Occasional Error Codes on Motherboard. Constant codes with XMP

Without changing any BIOS settings I will occasionally get a 33 code (CPU post-memory initialization. Cache initialization) on the motherboard during start up. The PC looks like it is turning on (lights, fans, etc) but will just hang until I restart. After restart everything works normally and have had no issues while running. I noticed recently in the BIOS my memory is only running 2133 mhz. I tried turning on XMP to get it closer to actual spec (3000 mhz) but if I do so I constantly will get a d2 code (PCH initialization error) and computer will continuously turn on and off without ever actually booting. RAM is in slots 2 and 4 per manual. Any thoughts?

Update. Tried running with just one stick in slot 2. Was able to run with no errors XMP on or off. Tried with the other stick. With XMP off it would give me a 13 code (Pre-memory CPU initialization) and not start up.
