I've got this issue where I occasionally get weird mouse stutters every 1-2 minute or so.
I am using a steelseries rival 300, but i've tried using a different mouse where the same stutters occur, which leads me to think that it has got something to do with my computer. This doens't only happen in one game but also in other games. Though when im not playing any game, but instead on my desktop browsing, there are no mouse stutters.

I've tried searching the net for a while now, unfortunately without any luck.

Has anyone had this issue or know how to resolve it?

I just washed my mousepad that i've been using for some years now. But the issue seems to still be there. I have also tried another USB port, again without any luck.

Im convinced it doesn't have anything to do with my monitor. But im using a BenQ 2411z which I bought last august.

I've already tried a different mouse. A deathadder chroma so to speak. The issue still occurs though.

Alright i will give it a try, and update you in some minutes.

So i've tried another mousepad, even a piece of paper. And it still happens...

Ok.

And again what kind of mouse? Logitech or something different? I normally go logitech and they have drivers for their keyboards and mice. You may want to check drivers, reinstall and/or upgrade them.

Also it could be something weird like a malware or virus causing those issues. Specially if it seems to be happening with other mice. just to be safe I would run, ccleaner, anti virus scan, malwarebytes and adaware removal tool.

OP stated his mouse was a steelseries rival 300

Well it is slowly driving me crazy too, as I have tried numerous of solutions. I have also tried upgrading and downgrading driver/firmware of the mouse, again, without any luck..

The weird thing is that a friend of mine also has this issue, he too bought a new mouse but the issue is still occuring. What could the issue actually be caused by at this point?
