Occasional white noise (static) on second monitor

Hey guys, I've got this really odd problem where my second and third monitor will sometimes suddenly change to static, until I move a window into or out of the screen, or I move the task bar to or from that screen.

It will always be either my second or third monitor, one on HDMI the other on DVI. I used to only have two monitors and I had the same issue on my second monitor.

I currently have a GTX 970, but I had an R9 270x beforehand and also had the same issue. I also tried switching out all of the cables and updating the motherboard firmware. (Maximus VI Hero)

I'm running Windows 7.

is your monitor running on the same power strip as your pc/ other monitor?
is the power grounded well?
do u live in a place with high or ow humidity?

I have one monitor on the same strip as my pc and the other two on a second strip... It's definitely worth a try to get an extension cable to another outlet and see if power delivery is an issue though.

Would a monitor behave in that way if that was the issue?

I live in Canada so depending on the season it can either be really humid or really dry, I've had this issue for longer than a year at least.

yea it makes sence if that happened
grounding problems happen when its not same strip
