I have a Windows system with dual Xeon CPU with 8 cores each and when rendering in Vray it shuts down after a few minutes, not even with a heavy scene.
I ran Aida stress test for 1 hours with no problems. Temperatures seem normal not higher of 70C.
Then I ran the following 1 hr tests tests in OCCT : CPU, no errors, RAM, no errors, CPU+RAM thousands of errors all in two particular cores.
I would appreciate some expert suggestions on what can be the problem and how can I fix the problem. Thank you.

CPU+RAM thousands of errors all in two particular cores.
Use Memtest86 to validate the RAM.

How to use it: https://www.memtest86.com/tech_booting-memtest.html

4 full passes is acceptable. That means all 15 tests, 4 times over.
Depending on how much RAM you have, it takes forever. E.g 1x 8GB one full pass = 2h. 2x 8GB one full pass = ~2.5h. And so forth.

Once there are no errors found, RAM is sound.

When RAM is sound, replace the CPU that has the two faulty cores. This would be the only fix.
Also, i'm not aware if you can permanently disable the faulty cores.

But if there are errors with RAM, i'd replace the RAM 1st, since RAM is usually cheaper than CPU.
