Hello,
I bought a new RAM kit Kingston FURY 16GB KIT DDR4 3600MHz CL17 Beast Black RGB (KF436C17BB2AK2/16) and I already had in my PC the older version of this kit KF436C17BBAK2/16. These 2 kits have the same clock speeds, timings and everything so I thought it wont be a problem to got that new kit for my PC, because the older version is no longer available.
I wanted to play some games and my PC started crashing and from the beginning I thought it is some software error, but then I remembered I got these problems when I installed my new RAMs into my PC, so I started digging into it and found software OCCT to test the stability of my device and it found memory errors, so I then found program MemTest86, booted it from my USB and ran test of my memory, but afted maybe 4 hours it didnt find any errors. I didnt try removing that kit yet. But when I turned off in BIOS memory profile so my memory speed wont be 3600Mhz, but 2400Mhz, OCCT found no errors. Is there something that I can do instead of buying a new kit?
Other components:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600X
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 VISION OC 8G
RAM: as shown at top of post
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B550M-A
Thank You and sorry for my english.
EDIT
Yeah and btw. the errors in OCCT starts popping around 10 minutes while testing.
