OC'd pentium d805 hot as hell

Actually it is running much cooler that my P4 prescott. I clocked it to 2.8 and left the voltage alone. It seems to Idle around 40c and I saw it get up to 55c running 2 primes. I am pretty happy, at $60 it will allow my son to play any game that comes out in the next year or so, unlike the Prescott would have.

My C2D changes multiplier, Freq, and voltage for power saving. Anyone know what the 805D should be doing, because all I have noticed was the voltage changing.

i have my pentium D820 which is running at 3.20GHz and the temperature just goes to 60C maximun

How about my PD 805 overclocked to 3.5ghz , with a zalman 9500 and no overvoltage and it berely reach 56 full load.
