OCing a 1700+ Tbred

Just for giggles Im going to twist a 1700+ Tbred. I will be putting it on a MSI KT3 mobo. My question is DO I need to unlock the CPU to change the multiplier or am I good to go? Thanks for your time Take care all.

It should be unlocked, not sure how the MSI board will allow tweaking it though, give it a try.

It is unlocked for all multipliers up to 12.5x, after that you have to do a bridge mod.

I love my Delta 60HP 7000 RPM fan that puts out more dB then CFM 😱
