Well turned out the upgrade didn't work. :-/ The comp wouldn't start up
with the new Processor. Blasted compaqs and their no upgrades policy

Do you have information about the motherboard DIP switch settings? Were the
settings correct for the 500MHz P3 ?? ... Ben Myers
