ocing a dual-core, what configuration?

I want to build my own budget graphics station and overclock it. I am interested in getting best-value system at the momement.
My budget:
$150 CPU
$150 MB (Gigabyte P35 line?)
$200 GPU
$100 Cooling???
I already have:
OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel
Cooler Master Elite 330 case
500W PSU...

The budget is +/-.

I am a newbie who just finished my 1st build.

E6750 (with AC freezer pro cooler) and Gigabyte P35-DS3L ($300)
8800GT $250 (you have $300 for cooling/gpu combined)

I put this together no prob and OC'ed it to 3.2ghz very easily. I get 13k on 3DMark06 after OC'ing the 8800GT. Again, this was my 1st ever build and it was very easy.

My CPU stays under 50c and the graphics card is 46c at load (with Accelero S2 and fans)
