[SOLVED] OCing GPU but no fps gains?

So I have Asus Rog G752VM laptop. it has 6700HQ CPU and GTX 1060 6gb.
In the Asus Gaming Centre application I OCed my GPU to 2000mhz clockspeed and 4300mhz vram speed, but the fps performance in the games didn't change. Crysis 3 performances didn't change. I even did benchmarking in far cry 5 and they were the same. One thing I noticed though, I use MSI AfterBurner overlay in game monitoring, and no game utilized OC'ed 2000mhz speed. If they ever did, it was only during loading screens.
Is my CPU bottlenecking or what?

Temps are 75c when gaming. They do go to 80c when gaming for longer periods but not more than that. Under what temp does Boost 3.0 operates?

Thats beyond a lot of thresholds. Even at 60C, the boost algorithm will start to lower clock speeds.

It has several temperature thresholds. The hotter the gpu runs, the lower the max possible boost clock.
Gpu overclocking is next to worthless on laptops due to how warm they already run.

It's sad that one was already passed at like 30C!

To add to this, undervolting may actually help by decreasing temperatures.
