OCing my computer (WEIRD)

ok...hes my "problem." I used to OC my 2.4 ghz intel to 3.12 Ghz 24/7 now ive decided to stop doing that so i can make my PC last....now that i am at normal speeds. it crashs. the only way i can have my computer stable, is if i over clock....i dont get it?

Did you flash the bios? If not you might have left a setting in the wrong place.
You my want to rewrite the bios also.

Yeah, reset the BIOS and see if that stabilizes it.

i did that...and it seems to be stable...its been good for about 2 hours now....
